- Here's a short thing about what it is, from the University of Arizona http://www.optics.arizona.edu/
- I took a 3000 level optics a year ago. It was mostly applications of Snell's Law and the lensmakers and thin lens equation. You'll learn about refraction at a boundary, critical angles, polarization, ray tracing and stuff like that. It's not hard if you're comfortable with algebra and basic calculus.
