Magnifying Visors

How do I take an image from one place and have it show up on a screen in another place using fiber optics?

How do I take an image from one place and have it show up on a screen in another place using fiber optics? I'm just looking for the most simple way to do this. Just something basic, but I am talking about larger images. For example, I want to see the lightspeed visual of something that's x distance away using fiber-optics, and the display of this object shows up on a monitor or screen.

  1. Fiber optics are not very good at this. The integrity of an image is not preserved by a fibre, so the only way to transmit an image is to bundle a lot of fibres together and focus an image onto one end. Each fibre then transmits a pixel effectively. Bundling fibres this way is costly because their orientation has to be preserved, or they will scramble the image.
