How come there always seem to be a magnifying glass on Black men when they date interracially?
But not white men when white men date/marry outside their race more than anybody? The most common interracial combination is white male/asian female, yet there seems to be a magnifying glass on black men and what they do...........

- maybe u should dedicate ur life to finding out this important detail
- Minorities call eachother sellouts on IR dating more than anyone. Take it up to them.
- it's 2010 most people aren't that ignorant anymore and don't care what race the other person is if they're attracted to them. i don't even notice interracial couples but maybe that's because i've been in so many relationships lol
- true
- Are you a little paranoid? I don't see magnifying glasses on anybody who inter-racially dates... maybe 30 years ago, but it is so "normal" these days, who cares?
- because I wanted to examine a zit that I saw on the black man's back. Do you know how hard it is to see zits on black men? Its friggin' hard.
- Because they may go gangsta on their bitchas asss any time!
- Most people don't care, at least my generation. But I guess it stands out more, its more noticeable. Who cares, interracial dating is AMAZING
- Well, I think the same can be said about black women who date white men. The key here is, whenever you have someone black entering a relationship with someone who is non-black then there are all kinds of assumptions made. Not only will negative assumptions be made, but you have some who don't believe in interracial relationships especially as it concerns blacks and whites. I think when you are talking about black/white relationships, there is still that hurt that comes from past racial problems. For many there is still an issue with it because of the past such as the civil rights era, and slavery. There are some blacks who are against it because they feel that you should remain true to your race and not "sell out" or they believe you hate your race. Then you have some whites who believe their race is superior to blacks. Whatever the reason may be, we are free to date the person we want to regardless of their race. The reason why it is scrutinized even in today's society is because of the issues that have not been resolved by both races. Also it has to do with some not having an open mind to interracial dating.
- Because these people who put the magnifying glass on interracial dating are intolerant and just plain dumb :) Just accept love people.
