How do you burn ants with a magnifying glass?

i've always wanted to try it, but i could never really get the hang of it. is there a certain way you point the magnifying glass to the sun?

3. Just play with it and you'll get it right and it will burn them.
4. If the sun is shining, what you do is make sure the focus is on the ant, move the magnifying glass up and down until the light becomes a small dot and that should cook the ants. not that i condone the action.
5. just focus magnifying glass on ant but the sunlight should fall on the magnifying glass
