Magnifying Visors

How do I get the magnifying glass to go away on windows seven?

I tried to use the touchpad to zoom in on my gateway laptop. If you put two fingers on the pad and move them towards each other or appart, the screen zoom level changes. I did this but the little magnifying glass will not go away. does anyone know how to fix this?
