Magnifying Visors

What cameras have the magnifying glass macro mode?

I need to take extreme close up photos(like the size of a matchhead) and so far have looked at the Sony T-series cameras. They have a magnifying glass macro mode (more powerful than regular macro mode) that seems to do a great job, but I'm curious if there are other cameras that also have that mode that I should look at before I make my decision. So what other cameras would do what I need?

  1. You may find such an alternative at this site. http://www.dpreview.com Most of us who shot macro's, use a 35 mm SLR or DSLR with a macro lens like the 105 mm macro lens .... to get shots with subject to image ratios over 1:1, we use an extension tube or a bellows.
  2. an slr with a 60mm or 100mm macro lens. the slr and these lens would really cost you. but imagine a macro of a flower with an insect on it, you can literally see the eyes of that insect. here's a picture. http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/ciu/62/9f/fae6225b9da01c47294dc010.L.jpg you could get an slr around 500. the lens would be around 300 to 400. so all in all it's a 8 to 9 hundred dollar expense. 60mm macro lens http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007WK8KS/ref=cm_cmu_pg__header slr (canon xti body - a good entry level slr) http://www.amazon.com/Canon-Digital-10-1MP-Camera-Body/dp/B000I1ZWRW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=photo&qid=1229300141&sr=1-2
