Magnifying Visors

How do you create a magnifying glass effect in powerpoint?

I would like to know how to create a magnifying glass effect. On my slide I have a picture, I would like to be able to have a picture of a magnifying glass going over it and magnifying the same picture to the right of it. I know that this is possible because I have seen it done before. Thank you for your help !

  1. With the limitations of power point, I would suspect it was done by making an animation in which the enlarged image that appeared in the lens also appeared at the right - in other words it wasn't an magic magnifying glass that observed what was on the screen and enlarged part of it automatically to the right (which is possible on a computer screen, just probably not in PowerPoint) but someone tediously took the original image, selected part of it in an image processing program, enlarged it, pasted the image of a magnifying glass on the original image, pasted the enlarged image into the frame of the magnifying glass and into the space on the right, saved the image, then, if they needed to, repeated the whole thing to get a moving magnifying glass.
  2. magnifying glass effect? Did you mean Microscope Animation? If so, I recommend you to learn a how-to guide from the source to Create fascinating animation for your presentation.
